since they sort of had to give away the last "future proof" version for free to everyone, maybe they stripped away some if its skills to sell them again as something else in the future. I only found out about closing the activation servers a few days ago when for some reason my Riffstation installation started asking for me to activate it again - which obviously didn't work. I'd definitely go back to version 1.5 but of course I can not activate it anymore. Version 1.5 displayed the first chord as Fm, version 1.6.3. One well known example: Blinding Lights by The Weeknd. I've checked out a few songs that had the right chords in version 1.5 but version 1.6.3 displays some simple minor chords as major chords. Especially recognizing between major and minor chords is worse in 1.6.3 than it was in version 1.5. I know I'm late for this discussion, but I've started to suspect they dumbed down the chord recognition for the last version 1.6.3.
