There's a sense that the cameramen and directors of the picture were unthinkably stoned along with the main characters. It's so unimaginable to get into the roles of stoned junkies - it makes you feel good and laugh (as I've said before). The images they perform are drenched in a narcotic and poisonous frenzy. All of this was accomplished only by the GREATLY CHICH performance of two talented and brilliant actors - Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro. Let's start with a gorgeous duet that at first falls in love, but afterwards you look at the main characters with incredible disgust. Let me tell you right away - the movie is not for the average viewer. "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" at first seems like a crazy comedy about two fucked-up and stoned morons who go to Las Vegas in search of the famous "American Dream," but only in the middle of the picture a revelation and the true meaning of this picture came upon me.
